Waiting Patiently

The other day I finally made my first Pandora purchase.  Well sort of.   I’ve always loved Pandora jewellery, and their leather bracelets and charms in particular are very popular.

However what caught my attention was this beautiful ‘Sweetheart ring’:

Recently I’ve been loving the mix of silver and gold in jewellery, so I thought this ring was perfect.   However, after trying them on, alas there was no stock of my size.  The ring sizes go from a size 50, which is a K, to a size 60, which is an S.   I need a size 50, so decided it was worth the wait, of....six weeks!  I may therefore have to contain my excitement for now, and report back, in erm February :)

What I'm Loving - 2

Maybelline Falsies mascara:
I’m very fickle when it comes to mascara, tending to choose the latest one out.  However this looks like it’ll be a favourite for a long time.

The wand is ‘spoon’ shaped so is great at getting all your lashes in one go, and really does give noticeably longer lashes than other mascaras I’ve tried.  It also now comes in waterproof, so I’ll be trying that soon :)

Lush Toner Tabs:
I decided to try these after gemsmaquillage featured them in a favourites video.  I initially didn’t think I’d be a big fan, being slightly on the claustrophobic side; however they’ve become somewhat addictive.

They come in Tea Tree, Vitamin C and Vitamin E, with my favourite being the Tea Tree.  You drop one of the tabs into a bowl of boiling water, put a towel over your head, and let the steam cleanse your face which gives you a feeling of really clean skin - wonderful.

Softlips:
Lip balm always becomes a favourite in the winter, with softlips being my first choice.

I love these balms particularly because they are skinny.  This makes them really nice to apply and to fit in your pocket; they also have SPF 20.  So far in the UK there’s only French vanilla and the vitamin-enriched balm, but there’s lots more flavours on their website that I’d love to try, especially cherry.

Yankee Candle in French Vanilla:
I don’t tend to burn candles a lot, being slightly neurotic about burning the house down, but the exception is Yankee Candle’s French vanilla.

This is my absolute favourite scent, it’s really simple and isn’t overwhelming like some of the sweeter scents can be.   The Yankee Candle scents tend to be strong, so can fragrance your room without the candle even being lit, perfect for neurotics :)
